Study on the Influence of Digital Economyin the Silk Road Economic Belt on the Green Development of the Manufacturing Industry

Abstract：Based onthepanel data of9 provincesalong the Silk Road Economic Belt from2013 to 2022，this paper constructs the indicator systemof green development of digital economy and manufacturingindustry， andusesentropyweight method to measurethelevel of green development of digitaleconomy and manufacturing industry in each province. Secondly，with the green development level of the manufacturing industry as the explained variable，the development level of the digital economy as the core explanatory variable，and the urbanizationlevel，government intervention，human capital and industrial structure as the control variable，threepanel dataregressionmodelswereestablishedtostudytheimpactof thedigital economy of the Silk Road Economic Belt on the green development of the manufacturing industry.The results show thatthe digitaleconomydevelopment and urbanizationlevel of the provinces alongthe Silk Roadcan promote thegreen developmentof the manufacturing industry，and the modeliresults are relatively stable;The influence of government intervention，industrial structure and human capital on the green development of manufacturing industry is not uniformin the three models.
