Abstract:Mostof the weather radars used incivil aviationare C-band,therefore,toavoid the impact of raininduced echo attenuation inradar detection,usualy,the weather radar echo atenuation correction is required before used.For a civilaviation weather radar serving in Guangzhou Baiyun Airport,aradarechoatenuation correction model is formulatedbyusing the microwave linkwhichbuiltalong theradarradial,andanexperimentof heradar echo attenuation correction method ofcivil weather radar is present.Byanalyzing a cases of convective weather, the correction efect for precipitation is analyzed based onrain gauges.Therain intensity estimation result shows that the radar echo attenuation correction model based onthe microwave link is able toreconstruct the intensityofrain gauges reasonably,therefore,the methodof microwave link assted weatherradar tocorrect echoatenuation can be applied to C-band Doppler weather radarof civil aviation.

0 引言

民航所用气象探测雷达多为C波段多普勒天气雷达,因波长较短,其时空分辨率和探测灵敏度均高于S波段天气雷达,但同时,短波长雷达在探测强降水时,会因雨致衰减而容易造成雷达回波过低,如不加以合理订正则无法正常进行业务应用。(剩余3289字)
