Abstract: With the strengthening of regulatory efforts by relevant departments, the current food safety situation in China continues to be stable and improving, but there are still food safety issues, such as excessive residues of organochlorine pesticides. This article outlines the hazards of excessive organochlorine pesticide residues, such as long-term chronic diseases, liver damage, and impact on offspring. It introduces risk assessment methods and common methods for detecting organochlorine pesticide residues in food, providing reference for relevant personnel.
