Analysis of the application effects of 3 types of fuel-roasting houses in the Hanzhong tobacco region

AbstractTo investigate theapplication efects of three types of fuel-roasting houses inthe Hanzhong tobacco region,this studycomparedandanalyzedthebaking costs,baking characteristics,economic traits,andecologicaleffects offirewood,coal,andbiomassfuel.Theresults indicated that,without considering equipmentcosts,the baking costof biomassfuel was the lowest,with asingle kang smoke baking cost of1755.8O yuan; the baking performance was good, with precise temperature control,less loss of tobacco leavesafter baking,andahigh proportionoforange smoke.In terms of economic traits,biomass fuel with a proportion of 56.20% for high quality tobacco and 96.52% for medium to high quality tobacco; the average priceis relatively high,and the netoutput value wassignificantly higher than thatof firewood and coalfuelovens,with an increase of1677.28 yuan and 4405.53 yuan/kang,respectively.The emissionof polutant gasesandparticulate matter frombiomassfuel wasrelativelysmall,and ithasgood ecological benefits.In summary,the promotion of biomass fuel in Hanzhong tobacco producingareas hasachieved good economicand ecological benefits. This article provides a reference for the promotion and application of biomass fuel.
