Effectiveness analysis of rodent control technical training in Sinan County

AbstractTo explore anefective rodent control model，2 technical trainingsessions onrodent controlwere held in 2024（Wangjiaba Village，Sunjiaba Town，trial site1）and 2O25 （Zhaxi Village，Sunjiaba Town，trial Site2）respectively， withatotal of 6O trainees;training wascarriedout through participatoryand interactive methods，and the pre-training and post-training testresults，satisfaction，implementationofqualitycontrol indicators，and theuseofbait stations for rodentcontrolof thetrainees were investigated to furtheranalyzethe training efectofrodentcontrol technology，the results of which showed that after the training in 2O24 and 2O25，the correct rates of the trainees were 83.67% and 84.33% respectively，which were higher than those before the training;the satisfaction rate of the trainees in the 2 technical training sessions on rodent control was 100% ，all of whom were very satisfied，and many trainees suggested that“more such trainings should be held";among the42qualitycontrol indicatorsof the2training sesions，the total number of indicators marked as“Yes” was 76，accounting for 90.48% ，indicating that the quality control indicators were generally well controled;compared with before the training，thenumber of trainees using bait stationsincreased significantly，amongwhich，intrialsite1，theusageratesofbaitstationrodentcontrolmethods inresidentialareasand agricultural areas increased by 60.0and 40.OO percentage points respectively，whilein trial site 2，the usagerates in residential areasandagricultural areas increased by 66.67and 43.33percentage pointsrespectively.Inconclusion， rodentcontroltraining achieved remarkable efects inthe studyarea，improvedthe level of rodentcontrol.This paper provides a practical reference for the integrated rodent control in relevant areas.
