Construction and optimization of ecological spatial structure based on MSPA and circuit theoryinthe SongnenPlain

AbstractThe Songnen Plain was selectedas the study area.Ecological sources were extracted using morphological spatial pattrn analysis (MSPA). Habitat quality was assessed using the Habitat Quality module in InVEST 3.14.0. A comprehensive resistancesurface wasconstructed based on habitatquality and other factors in the Songnen Plain. Ecologicalcorridors,ecological pinch points,barrier points,andbreaking points were systematically identifiedusing circuit theory,andanoptimizedecological security patern was establishedby integrating multiple elements.Theresults showed that a total of 65 ecological sources with a total area of 2 1 369.43km2 and 133 ecological corridors with a total lengthof6788.23km were identified inthestudyarea.Inadition,28ecologicalpinch points,31ecologicalbarier points,and9O breaking points were identified.Based onthe identification results,anoptimized ecological spatial structure of “three zones,four corridors,multiple nodes”was constructed. The study provides a reference for the construction and optimization of regional ecological spatial structure.
