Pseudolarix amabilis sowing and seedling cultivation technology

AbstractThis article summarized the sowing and seedling cultivation techniques for Pseudolarix amabilis through aspects such as mother tree selection，seed treatment，nursery site preparation，and seedling management.In termsof treeselection，itisadvisable tochoose single plants witha treeageof2O to 3Oyearsand robust growth;the seed colection period is preferablyfromearly October toearlyNovember.Aftertheseed scales naturallysplit，the seeds are separated through mechanical rubbing.Short-term and long-term storage methods respectively adopt outdoor cellr storageand low-temperaturedry storage techniques，and strict qualitycontrolof the seeds iscarriedout.Selecta plot that faces the wind from thesouthand is flat，withconvenient drainageand irigation.Thesoil should preferablybe slightlyacidicsandy loamorlight loam，andthe soil layer thickness shouldbe more than 5Ocm.Theseeds should be pre-treated using the gradient temperature control method.Thesowing should be precisely controled withthe sowing amount and depth to promote uniform emergence of seedlings.During the seedling stage，management focuses on timely water and fertilizer regulation， integrated prevention of diseases and pests，and reasonable shading measures.This article provides a reference for the sowing and seedling cultivation of Pseudolarix amabilis.
