High yield cultivation techniques and popularization strategies of rapeseed

AbstractThis paper reviewed the high yield cultivation techniques of rapeseed from the aspects of strong seedling cultivation and timely transplanting,and explored thecorresponding popularizationstrategies.Rapeseed production shouldbeadapted to local conditions,selecting varieties with strong stressresistance and high yield based on local climate, soil and management conditions. Strong seedlings with 30-35 days of age, 5-6 green leaves and 5-6 mm root diameter are suitable for transplanting.Supplementary fertilization is applied at 5-6 kg/667 m² of urea at the early seedling stage and 8-10 kg/667 m2 of high-nitrogen compound fertilizer（ N:P2O5:K2 O=30:5:5) at the late seedling stage,combined with targeted irigation and drainage.Suitable herbicides are used for soil sealingand weeding before andaftertransplanting.Folowingtheprincipleof“preventionfirst,integratedcontrol",aphids,sclerotiniastemrotand otherdiseasesand pestsare controlled by field cleaning，yellow sticky trapsandhigh-efficiencylow-toxicity pesticides.Rapeseed is harvestedat the proper time in early to mid-May.The popularization strategies include precise promotion based on regional characteristics to select suitable improved varietiesand standardize strong seedling cultivation; establishingacompositecommunicationnetwork integrating traditionalmedia,newmedia platforms andonsite interaction;andbuilding athree-level demonstration network ofcore demonstration parks,township demonstration fields and farmer model households.This paper provides a reference for the high quality development of the rapeseed industry.
