Field control efficacy of 5 fungicides including menfentrifluconazole ⋅ pyraclostrobin against target spot of greenhouse cucumber

AbstractTo screen high efciency fungicides suitable for controling cucumber target spot in greenhouse cucumber in Tongzhou District,Beijing,using cucumber variety Zhongnong 16as the test material,6treatments were established, including 400g/L mefentrifluconazole·pyraclostrobin suspension concentrate (SC) at 25 mL/667 m² (treatment A), 43% fluopicolide·trifloxystrobin SC at 15 mL/667 m² (treatment B), 200g/L fluxapyroxad·trifloxystrobin SC at 30 mL/667 m² (treatment C), 35% tebuconazole·prochloraz emulsion in water (EW) at 6O mL/667 m² (treatment D), 400g/L mefentrifluconazole SC at 15 mL/667 m² (treatment E),and water control(CK).The control efficacy against cucumber target spot,cucumber yield and safety of each fungicide treatment were determined.The results showed that all 5 fungicides had certain inhibitory efects on cucumber target spot,among which treatmentE provided the better control efficacy ranging from 83.12% to 89.11% at7 days after the first application and at 7 and 14 days after the second application,the control effcacy of treatment A and C at 14 days after the second application ranged from 76.34% to 77.96% ,the cucumber plot yield under each fungicide treatment was 185.16-231.23kg ,and treatment E showed the highest yield increase compared with CK,followed by treatment AandC.Allfungicide treatments weresafe for cucumber growth without phytotoxicity symptoms.In conclusion, 400g/L mefentrifluconazole SC at 15 mL/667 m² could be preferentially used for field control of cucumber target spot in greenhouse in the study area,and 400g/L (20 mefentrifluconazole·pyraclostrobin SC at 25 mL/667 m² and 200g/L fluxapyroxad·trifloxystrobin SC at 30 mL/667 m² could be applied as rotational fungicides.
