Effects of agronomic treatments on ginger growth, root knot nematode control and yield

AbstractTo clarifythe effcts of differentagronomic treatment measures onthegrowth,rotknotnematode control efectiveness,and yieldof ginger.Fieldexperiments wereconducted ingingerplantingareas inShanxian,Shandong Province.Conventional fertilization treatment (CK,nitrogen fertilizer 50kg/667m2 ,phosphorus fertilizer 18kg/667m2 potassium fertilizer 60kg/667m2 ),nitrogen fertilizer reduction treatment (R1,nitrogen fertilizer , phosphorus and potassium fertilizers the same as CK),soil fumigant treatment (R2,nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium fertilizers the same as R1,fumigation with 3O kg/667 m2 of chloropicrin),organic fertilizer substitution treatment (R3, organic fertilizer 3000kg/667m2 )and microbial fertilizer substitution treatment (R4,microbial fertilizer 1OO kg/667 m²) were setup tocompare and analyze the growth status of ginger,root knot nematodecontrol effect,and yield of each treatment.Theresultsshowed thatthe plantheight,rotknot nematodecontrolefficiencyand yieldof gingertreatedwith R4 were the highest,which were 89.76cm , 80.23% and 4516.36kg/667m2 ,respectively.The incidence rate and disease index of ginger root knot nematode were the lowest,which were 9.94% and 16.51,respectively.Overall,the results show thatusing microbialfertilizer instead ofconventionalfertilization can helpcontrol root-knot nematodes and increase theyieldof ginger.This studyprovidesareferenceforthescientificpreventionand controlof gingerrootknot nematodes and the sustainable development of related industries.
