Abstract：Withtherapid growthofChina’snewenergyvehicleindustry，theaverageageoftraditional gasolinevehicles inthemarketisincreasingrapidly，leading toadeclineinthepassrateofexhaustemissions tests.Theairpollutioncaused by automobile exhaust emissions has become increasingly severe，drawing significant atention from the national level. This paper，basedonGB18285-2018，imitsandmeasurementmethodsforemissonsfromgasolinevehiclesundertwospeed idleconditionsandsimple driving mode conditions，explores thetechnicalmethods，combustionconditions，and reasons forfailuresoftheexhaust emisiontests forgasolinevehicles.Itprovidesanin-depthanalysisofthemain factors affectingtheresultsof exhaust emision tests for gasoline vehicles，and proposes scientificandreasonablediagnostic strategiesandrepair measures forvehiclesthatfail tomeet emisionstandards.Theaimofthisstudyis toimprove the passrateofexhaust emisions tests forgasolinevehicles，contributetoimprovingairquality，andpromote the further application and advancement of automotive environmental protection technologies.
