Abstract： Taking ISO/AWI 25343 as an example，this paper explores the advancement and development pathways for theinternationalizationofChina’s hydrological standards.Using acase studyapproach，itmeticulously sorts outtheinternationalizationpathofISO/AWI25343，witha focusedanalysisonthekeydecision-makingpointsand implementationstrategiesoftheproject.Bydelvingintothecriticalsuccessfactors behindtheestablishmentofISO/AWI 25343，the paper proposes recommendations for China to lead or participate in international standardization work in the future，providesvaluable experience for peer enterprises orexperts engaging in international standardizationefforts.
