Abstract：Toenhance the internationalizationleveland industrialcompetitivenessofChina’s foxtailmiletstandards system，this papersystematicallycompares therelevantstandardsofinternationalorganizations（SO，FAO，CAC）and major producing countries such as India and Japan，and conducts a comparative analysis with China's national and sectoralstandards，aswellasgeographicalindicationstandards.Thestudyrevealsthattheinternationalstandardssystem remainsunderdeveloped，mainlyfocusingonsafetyand generalspecifications.Incontrast，Chinahasestablishedamultilevelstandardssystem.Intermsofcultivation techniques，ithasdevelopedaseriesofdetailedagronomic specifications thatarehighlyadapted toregional ecologicalconditions.Intermsofquality evaluation，China has innovatively introduced indicatorssuchasamylosecontentand specifc vitamins，effectivelyquantifyingtheuniquequalityattributes ofthe products.Theresearchindicatesthat Chinesestandards demonstratesignificantadvantages inregionaladaptability andqualitycharacterization.Itisrecommendedtofurtherstrengthenindustry-academia-researchcollaboration，enhance whole-chain coordination，andactivelyparticipate ininternational standards development，topromote high-quality development of the industry.
