Abstract：ThispaperexaminestheartisticpracticeJulieMehretu，revealingthecontemporaryalegoryembeddedinher pictorialimagerythoughananalysisthedynamicevolutionhervisuallanguageandinovationsinchromaticstrategies. Transitioningfromthegeometricorderearlyarchitecturaldrawingstoaproundengagementwithglobalpoliticalrealities， Mehretu’soeuvreconsistentlyemployscolorasafluidcode，condensing historical trauma，power dynamics，and future posibilities onto the canvas.Fcusing onherusecoloracrossselected works from distinct creative periods，this study arguesthatMehretu’spracticetranscendsmerechromaticexperimentation.Byleveragingthe fluidityandambiguitycolorto challenge narrative authority，her art becomes both a reflection on and an intervention into reality.
