Abstract：This paper discusses the significant roleofcolorincontemporary Chinese animated films throughadetailedanalysis andexplorationof theuseoftraditionalcolorelements.Itprovidesrichlayersofsymbols forculturalinheritanceandartistic fects.Based onaseries ofcasestudies fromcontemporary Chinese animatedfilms，this paper further explores the symbolic meaningsandemotionaltansmisionoftraditionalChinesecolors，aswellastheiruniqueappicationinmodernanimationThe observedresultsshowthattraditional Chinesecolors notonlyenhance thecultural significanceoffilms butalsoconveyspecific emotional cultures through colorlabels.Therefore，this studynotonlyofers new perspectives onthe studyofancient Chinese colors but also provides theoretical guidance for contemporary animators in color selection.
