Abstract: [Purposes] The purpose of this study is to explore the development and application of seismic source technology in underground space seismic exploration,and to analyze the influence of dierent source types on seismic wave characteristics and underground space imaging accuracy.[Methods] This paper reviews the current mainstream seismic source technologies,including explosive sources,hammer sources,vibroseis,and vector sources,and analyzes the excitation method,application scope,and characteristics of each source.[Findings] Through comparative analysis,it is shown that explosive sources can release high energy and have wide applicability;hammer sources are simple to operate and costeffective; vibroseis alows for precise control of seismic wave parameters,making it particularly suitable for complex geological conditions; vector sources, which can combine multi-directional excitation, have the potntial to enhance the accuracy of seismic exploration and data interpretation capabilities.[Conclusions] In the future,vector source technology is expected to significantly improve the fineness and reliability of underground space imaging through its multi-directional excitation ability.
