Abstract: [Purposes] This study conducts a numerical simulation on the flood control impact of the newly built Meijiang Grand Bridge projectof the Meizhou-Shantou Railway.This aims to provide technical support for bridge flood control engineering construction [Methods] A two-dimensional flow mathematical model was used to calculate and analyze the changes in backwater,flow velocity,flow pattern, hydrodynamic axis,and beach-trough morphology in the river reach caused by the bridge construction. [Findings] The results indicate that the bridge project induces only minor backwater in the river channel,with a limited influence range on the nearby water levels,thus posing a minor impact on river flood control safety.The impact on flowvelocity isconfined to thevicinityof theproject,with minimal changes; the overallflow field remains smooth,flow velocity alters slightly within a small range,and the general flow regime remains unchanged.[Conclusions] This study provides areliable technical basis for the optimal design and construction of water-crossing bridges,assessment of river flood conveyance safety,and planning of measures to eliminate or mitigate impacts.

利用二维水流数学模型,通过数值模拟来计算桥址河段工程建设前后壅水、流速、流态、水动力轴线及滩槽的变化,从而为桥梁防洪评价提供基础数据,为工程建设决策提供技术支撑,亦为水行政主管部门审批提供依据。(剩余3887字)
