Abstract: [Purposes] In order to activelyaddress the aging population and alleviate the caregiving difficulties of elderly people living alone,a wearable smart bracelet designed for the care of elderly people living alone has been developed to enhance their health and safety protection.[Methods] The system is based on the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller,integrating the MAX30102 pulse oximeter sensor to collect heart rateand blood oxygen saturation in real time,and the MPU6o5O gyroscope module to monitor the elderly's posture and fallstatus.Thecollected data is analyzed by the main controlchip.If heart rate, blood oxygen,or posture data exceeds safety thresholds,the systemsends an alarm signal to terminal devices through a wireless communication module,triggering the voice playback system to automatically broadcast arequest for help,thereby achieving remote warning and timely intervention.[Findings] The wristband canstably and accurately obtain the user's heart rate,blood oxygen saturation,and posture information.The system responds quickly with low communication latency.In simulated abnormal situations,the alarm mechanism reliably triggers,verifying the wristband's effectiveness and practicality in real-time monitoring and emergency situations.[Conclusions] This wristband features a simple design and easyoperation,capable of real-time monitoringand alerting of health risks for elderly people living alone,providing timely intervention for their health management,and has practical value for broad application.
