Abstract: [Purposes] To investigate the impact of large-scale foundation pit excavation on the surrounding environment.[Methods] SBAS-InSAR technology was used to process19 scenes of Sentinel-1A satelite data to obtain surface deformation information for a metro parking lot foundation pit in Fujian Province from June 2O24 to January 2O25.The results were compared with leveling data to verify the reliability of the SBASInSAR monitoring results.[Findings] The results indicate that the maximum annual settlement rate at the pit boundary was 24.09mm/a , with a cumulative maximum settlement of 8.7 mm,both located in the northern part of the pit. The results from combining construction logs and historical remote sensing images are consistent withthe issues identified by the SBAS-InSAR monitoring data.[Conclusions] This demonstrates the feasibility of using this technology for monitoring foundation pit deformation.
