Effects of different fertilization methods on eggplant growth and soil characteristicsin river valley area

Abstract:Inordertoinvestigatetheeffectsofdifferentbiologicalfertilizerapplicationmethodsonthegrowthyield, quality,andsoilcharacteristicsofeggplantinrivervallyarea,Shengyuan3wasusedasthetestmaterial.Sixdierent field experimentswereconductedin2023,includingsingleapplicationofchemical fertilizer(CK),onventionalfertilization(T1),icalertilrrobialtler),onetioalertilatioicrobalertilT),ilizer+humicacid liquidfertilizer+microbialfertilizer(T4),andconventionalfertilization+microbial fertilizer+humicacid liquidfertilizer(T5).Thechanges ineggplant yield,qualityandsoilcharacteristicsafter harvest were analyzed.The results showed thattheapplication of microbialfertilizercould promote thegrowthofeggplant plantsand increase the leafareaperplant.Comparedtotheapplicationofchemical fertilizeralone,T5 treatment hadasignificant efectson eggplant plant height,stem thickness,leaf area,and yield,increasing significantly by 13.5% , 13.6% , 60.6% ,and 25.0% , respectively.The application of humic acid liquid fertilizer significantly increased the soluble sugar content and crude protein content of eggplant.The T4 treatment increased significantly the soluble sugar content by 23.2% compared to the control,and the T5 treatment increased significantly the content by 25.4% compared to the control. The application of humicacidliquidfertilizerincreased thetotal nitrogen,totalphosphorus,andorganicmatercontentofthesoil,utthe change in total potasium content wasnotsignificant.Comparedtothecontrol,underT3 treatment,urease,acid phosphatase,and sucrase in the soil showed the highest enzyme activity,which increased significantly by 30.3% , 18.7% ,and
58.2% ,respectively.The research results provide a theoretical basis for the high qualityand eficient production of eggplant and the optimization of fertilization plans inriver valley area.
