Effects of organic-inorganic fertilizer application on the growth and quality of greenhouse tomato under different planting patterns

Abstract:Inordertoinvestigatethesynergisticofdiferentbio-organicfertilizerscombinedwithmineralfertilierson tomato production under diferent planting paterns,agreenhouse field experiment wasconducted to compare the efects ofdiffrentbioorganicfertilizerscombinedwithmineralfertilizersontomatogrowth,qualityyield,andsoilfertility under different planting patterns. The results showed that compared with CK, T4( 240cm ridge spacing, vermicompost organicfertilizercombinedwith mineralfertilizer)increasedthecontentof totalphosphorus,availablepotassiumand organic materinsoil,whiledecreasedthe soil pHandthecontentofheavy metalscadmium,chromium,nickeland lead. Comparedwith conventionalplanting(CK)andother treatments,thestomatal conductanceand leaf transpirationrateof T4 tomato leaves were significantly increased. The net photosynthetic rate and intercellular CO2 concentration of leaves weresignificantlyhigherthanthoseofCK,T1,T2andT3,buttherewasnosignificantdiferencecomparedwithT5and T6.The qualityand yieldof tomatohave both improved,withasignificant increase intotalsugarcontent,soluble solids contentandsugar-acidratio.There was nosignificantdiferenceinvitamin CcontentbetweenT4andT2,butitwassignificantly higher than other treatments.Based on comprehensive anlysis,T4 240cm ridge spacing, vermicompost organic fertilizercombinedwithmineralfertilizer)isthebestfertilizertreatmenttoachieveicreasedyieldandqualityaswellas improved soil quality of greenhouse tomato.
