Research progress on endophytic bacteria in plants and their roles in the growth and development of tomato

Abstract：Endophyticbacteriaareakindof microorganisms thatare widelylived inplants，which participate inregulatingthe growthanddevelopmentofplants through themselves andtheirmetabolites.Thisarticle takes tomatoas theobject andsystematicall clarifies the typesof endophytic bacteriaandthe variousactive metabolitestheysecrete，including growth rgulatorysubstancesIAA，ethylene，phosphorus-solubilzingsubstances，hydrolases，itrogen-fiingcomonts andironcarriers.Through preciseregulationofnutrientabsorption，competitiveoccupationof dominant ecological sites， andactivationof theplant-inducedresistancesystem（ISR）andotherpathways，theroleinpromotingthegrowthanddevelopmentofthehostandassistinginresistingpests，diseasesandenvironmentalstress.Theproblemsand prospects existingintheresearchdirectionofendophyticbacteriainplantsarediscussed，withtheexpectationofprovidingareference for its application in the high-quality and efficient production of tomato.
