Abstract： Basedon the theories of semantic grammar and construction grammar，thisarticlesystematically examines and explains thecommonlyusedoralexpressionconstructioninmodernChinese，whichis"XbutnotX"，onthebasisofpreviousresearch. Firstly，itwasfoundtattheosructionof"XbutotX"asuqesmanticonrdictios，aswellasyicspecificityec ondly，threesematicsbaesiuddinisostrucoeretracted，aelytheleatiooftnbhaiorba tionofcmplexnaturefeatures，andteexpressionofomplexulti-aceedlifesiatios.Teoverallfocusasplacdattheback， andthesubjectiveevaluationfeatureswerehighlighted.Itwaspointedouttatithasthecharacteristicsofacombinationofsubjectiv ityandobjectivityinpragmatics，abackwardsemanticfocusandatrongwitencolor.inallitispintedouttattegeation mechanisofcontradictorysmanticsisloselyrelatedtoumandialecticalthinking，andisinfuencedbystructuralsuppreiond conceptual integration， exhibiting harmonious unity in cognitive mechanisms.
