Abstract：ThenovelChabyChen He，anoverseas Chinese writer，notonlyexhibitsabroad intertextual space withLuXun's Hometown butalsoarticulatesadistinctvoice withintheoverseascontext.Throughtechiquessuchasmisrecognition，deformation， andreconstructionChenHedeconstructsandrecostructstheoriginaltextinanoverseascontextByintertextualiingtheiageryf "Cha"throughtwoon-chaelements（inventedwordsandmisrecogzedbjects），intertextualizingtheimagesoftheyounghroand themidle-agedimmigrantastopicforkhldersunderthemon，andintertextualiingtheplotmysteriesof"whoistetiefand "whoistheinformer"，ChenHeborrowstheoriginaltextofHometountoendowChawithrichnewmeaningsinmultipleintetextual relationship.oughdeperrasforationofitertetualityChadertakespintertetaltansfoationcofrotstefousf thececummetaphor，breaksthroughthewritingtrapofself-Orientalizationinoverseas Chinese literature，andachievesnewethical cognitionandculturalreflection.JustasChenHe'smetaphorof "salmonreturning toteirbirthplace"，overseasChineseliteraturealsoneds tocontinuouslyreconstructandenrichitselfthroughdialoguewithhometownclassicsandexpressitsownvoice.Theinter textual practicebetweenChaand Hometouncannotonlyprovideanewdimensionforinterpretingoverseas Chineseliteraturebutalso offer useful experience for the study ofLu Xun's overseas influence.
