Research on the Responseto School-Related Online Public Opinions by Public Security Organs in the Age of We-Media

Abstract:In recent years,the network publicopinionicaused by campus public events has been gathered,showinganobvious trend of frequent occurrence.The school-related network public opinion has the characteristics of high rumor density,obvious phenomenon of“group polarization”and frequent interaction between online and offline,inside and outside the country,which increases the difficultyof public security organs’ guidance of publicopinion.Therefore,when dealing with this kindof special public opinion,public security organs should adjust the original public opinion response ideas,change the public opinion response strategies,andtake moretargeted methods and measures.Bycombing the characteristicsoftheemergence anddevelopment of school-related network public opinion,this paper points out the shortcomings of public security organs in dealingwith school-related network publicopinion,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions onthisbasis.
