Abstract：The“middle technology trap”（MTT）was first used by wade form New Zealand，but hisarticle did notgarner attentionat the time.The reason that MTThasbecomea hot topic in academia is due to the advice andsuggestions providedby Zheng Yongnian andhisteamonthedevelopment of China'stechnologyindustryin recent years，as well as the systematic and scientific topic setting of the MTT. Consequently，we adopts qualitativeand quantitativemethods，systematicallyreviews thedomesticand international researchliterature on MTT，and summarizes the existing research approaches.we also contemplates the significance of studyingthetopicofMTT.
