Abstract:Virtual currency pyramid schemes use the characteristics of digital assets for illegal multilevel marketing，seriouslydisrupting market order and financial security.Froma legal perspective,this articledelvesintothelegal natureofvirtual currency pyramid schemes，revealingtheiroperational mecha nismsandlegal essence.Accuratelydefiningthelegal boundariesof pyramid schemesinthefieldof virtual currencylis thecornerstoneof effectivelycurbingthe spreadof suchillegallactivities.Toaddress thelegall characterization and regulatory challenges of virtual currency pyramid schemes，itis necessary to clarifythelegalnatureofvirtual currenciesandtheillegalityof pyramid schemes，reviselegal definitions,strengthenregulatorycooperation,usetechnologytosupport regulation,andraisepublicawareness. Throughthese measures，theaim is to protect the rights and interests of investors,maintain financial marketorderand social stability，and promote theconstructionof a secure virtual currency trading environment.
