Abstract：The external environment of China‘s water industry is characterized by large demand scale， strong macro policydrive，and good overall market performance，which is conducive to the healthy developmentofitheindustry.Atthesametime，theinternalcostsofthewaterindustryarealsointensifying，mainly reflectedin three aspects：large investment in infrastructure construction，high cost of production technologyand changesin government environmental protectionpolicies.Throughtheanalysis of theinfluencing factorsinsideand outside theindustry，itisconducivetoclarifyingtheadvantagesanddisadvantagesof the developmentof the industry and providinga basis for the sustainable development of the water industry.
