Abstract:The paper systematicallyreviews the 45-year development trajectory of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation，dividingitintofourdifferent phasesandanalyzingthecharacteristicsandachievementsofeach stage.Since the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in 1980,the cooperation model between thetwocities has evolvedfromtheearly“front shop，back factory”arrangementtoadeeplyintegrateddualcitymodel，transitioningfromeconomiccomplementarytofullintegration.Thetwoeconomiesnowexceed RMB 6trillion，accounting for 42% of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area total economic output. Throughinstitutional innovation,spatial restructuring，andthecirculationof key factors，Shenzhen-Hong Kong collaboration has significantly advanced regional economic integration.Looking ahead，the twocities should focus oncomprehensiveopenness and expand cooperation platforms across multiplesectors.Inparticular，innovative modelsin public services such as healthcare and education should beexplored to create a higher qualityliving environment for residents and provide robust support for the Greater Bay Area develop ment,establishinga model for national-level regional economic cooperation.
