农机社会化服务对农户消费结构升级的影响研究
——基于时间与收入双重视角

Abstract:To establish a new development patern with thedomestic general cycle asthe main and the dual domestic-international circulationreinforcing,itisimperative toexpandrural domesticdemandandenhancethequalityof ruralconsumption.Byconstructingatheoreticaleconomicmodel,themechanismof theimpactoftheadoptionofagricultural machinery socialization services on theupgradeof theconsumption structure ofrural households is empiricall examined using the China Labor Dynamics Survey(CLDS)data.The study shows thatthe adoption offarm machinery socialization services cansignificantlypromotetheupgradeof theconsumptionstructureoffarmhouseholds,andtheconclusionstillholdsundera varietyofrobustness tests.Mechanismanalysis reveals thattheadoptionof agricultural machinerysocializationservices “squeezesout”agricultural production time,subsequently influencing consumption upgradingthrough both time efects and incomeeffects,with the former exertinga stronger impactthan the later.Heterogeneityanalysis reveals thatthe promotion efectofagricultural machinerysocializationservices ontheupgradingof theconsumption structureoffarmhouseholdsis more pronounced inthe centraland westernregions,and more impactfulamong moreeducatedand healthier farm households.Therefore,we proposed expanding thecoverage and depth of agricultural machinerysocialization services to reallocateagricultural production timetowardleisureandnon-farmemployment,therebypromoting theupgradeof the consumption structure of farm households and improving the quality of rural consumption.
