Abstract:The centralized type pneumatic seeding systemadopts centralized sed deliveryanddistributed seeddischarge to achieveeficient sowing.It hasadvantages such as good compatibility with sed shapes,low seed damage rate,and adaptability of wideand high-speed operations.Inthis study,the EDEM—Fluent coupling methodbasedon the DDPM model was usedto simulateandanalyze the gas-solid two-phase flow in the bent pipe sectionofthe wheatcentralized type pneumatic seeding system.Thechanges in pressure loss andrope dispersion lawof bent pipes with different benddiameter ratioswere studied while the inlet air velocity was 25m/s and the particle mass flow rate was 0.2kg/s .The simulation results showed that the dispersion features of particle rope of R/D=2 and R/D=3 bent pipes were similar. In the range of 0-250mm cross-section height,the dispersion speed of particle rope of R/D=1 bent pipe was higher than R/D=2 and R/D=3 bent pipes,while in the range of 250-750mm cross-section height,the dispersion speeds of particle rope of (204号 R/D=2 and R/D=3 bent pipes were higher than R/D=1 bent pipe. When the crosssection height reached 750mm ,the uniformityof particle distributionof threebentpipeswithdiferentbend diameterratiostendedtowardssimilarity.Both pressure loss and relative wear on the elbow were decreased with the increase of bend diameter ratio.
