AbstractObective]Toestablishafigerprintoftecheffrlucantmedialmateralandmetodfoetermngthotetf itsmainomponent.Method]Ahigh-peformanceliqidchomatography(HPLC)methodwasestablishedtodevelopfgerprintprofilesand evaluateesiiofsfcalatealfroitsllttf mainactiveompntsesul]eprntfhalcasesullablisd,ncouona tifiedUsingchorogeniccidastheferencepeak,thiilrityofallbatchsasotlowertanO.99.Thlnearrelatiospbetwee chlorogenic acid concentration (10.170-101.70g/mL) )and peak area was good,with recovery rates ranging from 97.84% to 100.20% and an RSD of 0.84% .The method met therequirements forspecificity,precision,repeatability,stability,androbustness.The chlorogenic acid content in the 18 batches of Schefflera leucantha ranged from 0.85 to 2.74mg/g :[Conclusion] The HPLC fingerprint and content determinationmethodestablshdintissdyissimplecurate,ablendrelable,rovidingeferencfothqualityontrolofScheferaluc tha medicinal materials.
