Genetic Diversity Analysis of Walnut Germplasm Resources Based on Fruit Phenotype

AbstractObjectieTostudyepenotyicdiversityandariationchracteristsofwalutmplasmresouces,rovidingaatafoudationandtheoreticalbasisforteselectionofsuperiorwalutgermplasmandthebredingofnewvarietis.Method]Using199walutdividualtreeswithgoodyieldperfomancfromwalnutgardenofInstituteofCashrops,ShanxiAgriculturalUniverstyasstudybjects,5fruit phenotypictraiseeaedetofraidgtesiyfcraitealdndea cipalcompontusteaalyoductedesul]eantiaitraitsftwaltfruitsshoddfc,iio coefficients ranging from 7.31% to 25.89% ,and an average value of 17.59% . Correlation analysis on 15 phenotypic traits indicated there werecorreltionsamongtetraitsAverageutweightisteainparameteformeasuringsinglefruitweight,showingextreelysignifcant positivecorrsigfrsrtdvefrtt,iretsf.ds tively.Averageelightalsodntreelysigiantposiioelnithagutht;eelyieldpreesoed extremelysigcantgieoelaiosihavesellthisvagfresfruithtndaverutwghtPripalot analysis reduced 15 traits into 5 principal components,whose cumulative contribution rate reached 74.63% . Cluster analysis divided 199 walnutresourcesintosixbreedinggroupsfordiferentusesConclusion]Thefruitphenotypicritsof99igh-yeldwalutindivdualtrees showhighgneticdversityndthelatiosamongtheenotypictraieeativelyose.Onparticularlyecelentvarety“Y” was screed and can be utilized as parental material for improving large fruit type and heavy single fruit.
