Study on the Denitrification Efficacy of Modified Zeolite Incorporated with Denitrifying Bacteria

AbstractThisudyinvestigatesteipactofodidzeolieldedwithdenitrifingbacteraontremovalefiencyofammoiro gen ( NH4+ -N)from water.Theresearch focuses onzeoliteas the primary subject,examining its performanceafter modification with H2SO4 (2 and FeSO4 in conjunction with the denitrifying strain Q1. The findings indicate that the fixation rates of H2SO4 and FeSO4 modified zeolite with strain Q1 were 86.1% and 68.1% ,respectively,both of which were significantly greater than those observed with zeolite.The optimal adsorptiondurationwsdeterinedtobe4hours,duringhichtemodifiedzeolitedemonsratedtheosefectiveloadingofstrainQ1Furte more,the removal efficiencies of NH4+ -N in simulated domestic wastewater using H2SO4 and FeSO4 modified zeolite loaded with strain Q1 were recorded at 88.4% and 89.1% ,surpassing the removal rates achieved by free bacteria and zeolite.
