Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between/mental health and competence of young cadres under the work team training system,and to analyze the mechanismof psychological resilience inithis relationship.Methods FromAugust 2023 to June 2024,40young cadres from aland consolidation work teaminacertain district of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province were randomly selected as the research subjects.The Resilience Scale,Symptom Checklist 90,and the Competence Measurement Scale for Local Partyand Government Leaders in China were used for the investigation.Spearman correlation analysiswas conducted to explore the relationshipamong mental health,psychological resilience,and cadre competence.The macro program Process was used to analyze the mediating effect of psychological resilience.Results Under the work team training system, thecompetencelevel of young cadres was good,andthelevelof psychological problems hada significant negativepredictiveeffect on cadrecompetence( Γ=-0.624 , P<0.01 ;psychological resilienceplayedapartial mediatingrolebetweenmentalhealthandcadrecompetence(95%CI:-0.514to0.085),andthe mediatingeffect accountedifor 37.39% of the total effect.Conclusion Mental health can influence the competence of young cadres through psychologicalresilience.
