Studyon Financial Risk Managementand Control Under the Diversified Fundraising Modelof Universities

Abstract:With the rapiddevelopment of higher educationin China，adiversified funding model characterized by“primarilyrelying on fiscal allocations whileactivelyexploring multiple fundraising channels”has becomeaninevitablechoicefor thedevelopmentof universities.Thispaper first systematicallyreviews the evolutionand policy framework of diversified funding inhigher educationinstitutions.Subsequently，it takes a university in Wuhan as acase study to analyze the current status and risks associated with diversified funding in universities.Finally,it proposes pathways for financial risk management and control from perspectives such as enhancing awareness of financial risk prevention,improving top-level designof universityfundraising，strengthening internal control systems，andimplementing intelligent risk identification systems.The study offers practical approaches for universities to expand funding sources while ensuring financial security and achieving sustainable development.
