Abstract：Terrorist attacks targeting Chinese citizens，enterprises，and even diplomaticmissions overseas poseaserious threattotheir safetyinterestsandaffect China‘seconomicand political cooperation withrelevant countries.Theattack ontheChinese convoyatthe Dasuhydropower station inPakistanon March 2024onceagainunderscorestheimportanceofcounteringoverseas terroristattackstargeting China.Toanalyze and address the measures against overseas terrorist attacks targeting China based on its characteristicsandsituati data attackstar getingChina orded wel 1 casesof overseasterroristattacks irgeting July2021toJuly2024.The datacollected and analyzed ncTude numbe incidents，the means of attack， thetypesofweaponsused the Des et： the attacks.It was found that they havethecharacteristicsof fluctuatin ulbe specificregions，frequentuseof hostage-taking tactic butless propertydamage. Itisbelieved that aspects：strengthening counter-terrorismcooperationwith countrres and regions，focusing on preventing hostage-taking tactics，enhancing theanti-terrorismcapabilitiesofChinese enterprises，citizens，anddiplomaticdepartments overseas，and continuing to promote economic and trade investment cooperation withrelevant countries andregions
