Research Landscape of Gen Al Applications in Education in China —lnvestigation Based on 532 Core Literatures from CNKl

Abstract:Toexplore theresearch landscape ofGenerativeArtificial Intellgence(GenAI) applications in education inChina,this paperconducts aninvestigationandanalysisof532core literatures from CNKI. Using bibliometric methods, this research fids that domesticrelevant research outputs have surged exponentiallysince 2023.The scholars in educational technology field playaleadingrole intheresearch,andtheirresearch perspectives mostlyfocus ontechnology empowermentand educationalecosystemreconstruction.Contentanalysis methodisusedtoemergefourmajorresearchthemessuchastechnologyenabledframeworks,olisticucatioaltransfomationvolutionofducatioalagents,ndeducatioaleticals.utue research should adhere tothe principleof“educationdefines technology”,and promote theapplicationresearches on GenAI in education in accordance with ethics and educational orientation.
