Abstract： With the continuous development of digital games，the role of visual aesthetics in game design is becoming increasinglyimportant，especiallytheuseofcolor，whichhasunique functions inshapinggame atmosphere，guiding player emotions，andenhancinggameexperience.Thisarticleexplores theroleofcolorinthevisualaestheticsofdigitalgames and its impacton player experience.Itanalyzes themultiple functionsofcolorincreating game atmosphere，characterdesign， narrative expresion，andfurterelaboratesontetechquesanddesignstrategiesofolorapplicationInadditiontisarticle reveals the specificapplication andefectivenessofcolor in actual game design through caseanalysis of thecolor designof the classic domestic game"Honorof Kings""Fantasy Westward Journey".Research has shown that color not onlyenhances visual ffects，butalsoeancesplayers'immersionandgameimmersionthroughemotionalregulation，characterorayal，andplot progression.
