Abstract：Thispaperanalyzesthecausesoftheabnormalsituationofthefractureofthevalvestemofthehigh-pressure mainsteamvalveofa65oMWunit.Throughinvestigation，itisdeterminedthatthefullstroketestofthesteamvalveandthe materialofthevalvestemarethemainreasons.Bymeansof technical transformationandoptimizedexperiments，themajor hiddendangerthatthefractureofthevalvestemofthehigh-pressuremainsteamvalveafectsthesafetyandeconomyof the unit has been eliminated， ensuring the long-period safe and economic operation of the unit.
