Abstract：Thedegreeofaging inChinaisdevelopingrapidly，andtheshortageandtrainingof profesional elderlycare workersareofwidespreadconcerntothewholesociety.Aimingattheproblemsfacedbythecurrentteachingofelderlycare serviceskils，thispaperstudiesthedesignprinciplesandsystematicdesignmethodsofvirtualrealitytechnologyinpractical teachingofelderlycareserviceskill.Theauthorfirstexpoundsthecurrntsituationofelderlycareservicesandtheproblems facedbytheindustry，analyzesthecurrntsituationproblemsfacedbythevirtualsimulationtrainingsysteminaplication， discusesthebasicprinciplesofsystemdesignindetail，andgivestheoverallarchitecturedesignplanandspecificresearchnd developmentmethodofthesystem.Practicalapplicationshaveshownthatintroducingvirtualrealitytechnologyintotheteaching and training of elderly care skills can achieve better results than traditional teaching.
