Abstract：Inordertosolvetheproblemsof increasingdemandforvehiclewashing，highcostandlongtimeconsumingfor manual car washing，thispaper designsaself-servicecar washingsystem.Thispaper introducestheoveralldesignof theselfservicecarwashingsystem，analyzestheoverallframeworkandstructuralcompositionofthesystem，andexpoundsthehardware designmethodfromfiveaspects：hardwaresystemfunctions，motordrivesystem hardware，vehiclepositiondetectionmodule， wirelesscommunicationmodule，andcleanlinessdetectionmodule.Twokeysoftwaredesignmethodsareintroduced：cleaning actuatorcontrolprogramdesignandmobileappicationsoftwaredesign.Finall，throughexperimentalsimulationanalysis，the feasibility of the self-service car washing system design scheme is confirmed.
