Abstract:Thesynthesismethodofamphotericpolyacrylamidewasexplored,andsixperformanceindicatorsofit,namely solubility,saltesistanceviscoelastityonstanttmperatureshearviscosityparticlesizeandmolecularweight,weeested. Amphotericpolyacrylamidethickenersampleswithdiferentconcentrationswerepreparedinthelaboratoryusingthreemonomers, includingurea,sodiumhydroxideandAM,andperformance testswereconducted.Theresultsshowthatthesampleshowsgood solubilityand thickening,and the best solubilityisobtained when the sample concentrationis 0.4% ,andit can be completely disolvedinashorttime.Theaddionofsaltwillcausetheviscosityofthesamplesolutiontodecrease.However,whenthesalt concentrationreachesacertainvalue,thenumberofsulfonicacidgroupsinthepolymerwillincrease,whichwillincreasethe saltresistance of the polymer.At this time,theviscosityof the solution tends to be stable;whenthestressis 1Pa ,the material isinacricalstatewithviscousandelasticcharacteristics.Theaditionofsaltcanafecttheaverageparticlesizeof thickeners,and the interaction mechanisms between different salt cations and thickener solutions vary.
