Abstract:InordertodeeplyexplorethetemporalandspatialcharacteristicsofdroughtintheSanjiangPlaincropgrowing season(MaytoSeptember),thestudywasbasedonthegridmeteorologicaldataoftheSanjiangPlain,usedthePenmanMonteithformulatocalculatepotentialevapotranspiration,andthencalculatedtheStandardizedPrecipitationEvapotranspiration Index(SPEI),andbasedonindicatorssuchasdroughtfrequencyrange,durationandintensitythedroughtevolutionlawsinthe studyareawererevealed.TheresultsshowthattheinterannualSPEIgenerallyshowsanupwardtrend(O.Oll/a),andtheclimate tendstobecomehumid.2O14isasuddenchangeyearintheSanjiangPlainfromdroughttohumidity;droughtocursmost frequentlyinAugust,andJulyisaperiodofhighincidenceofseveredrought.Thespatialdistributionofdroughtfrequencyon anannualscaleshowsapattemof"highinthemiddle,lowinthenorthandsouth".Thedurationandseverityofdroughtin theShuangyashan and Jixi areas are higher than those in the northwest.
