Abstract:Inordertoanalyzethedeformationlawduringtheexcavationofultra-deepexcavationsandthedeformation characteristicsafectedbyseepage.Anultra-deepexcavationnearariverinWenzhouareawasselected,andtheexcavation processof theexcavationwassimulatedbythesepage theoryusingPLAXIS3Dfiniteelement software.Thehorizontal displacementofretainingwallsoftheexcavation,thegroundsetlementoutsidetheexcavationandtheupliftoftheexcavation bottomareanalyzed.Andcomparedwith thedeformationofexcavationwithoutconsideringtheefectofsepage.Theresults showsthatthesepageeffectwillicreasethehorizontaldisplacementofretainingwall,,andwillicreasethedepthofthe maximumhorizontaldisplacementofretainingwall.Theseepageefectwillincresethemaximumgroundsetlementoutsidethe excavationandthedistancebetweenthemaximumsetlementpositionandthesupportwals.Sepagewillgreatlyincreasethe uplftvalueoftheexcavationbottomnearthesideoftheretainingwall,whichshouldbepaidatentiontoinpractical engineering.
