Abstract：Thispaper proposesanewtypeof cigareteremoving mechanism，which isappliedtotheexit of the YB95 packagingmachine.Theremovingdeviceismainlycomposedofaguideplate，aguideplaterotatingbracket，acylinder，a cylindersupprtandothercomponents.Themainfunctionistosendaremovingsignalwhenacigaretehasanappearance defectdetectedinthecurent processThecylinderoftheremoving mechanismdrivestheguideplatethroughasolenoidvalve， sothatthedefectivecigaretecanbetransportedfromtheotherdirectiontothetemporarystorageboxofunqualifiedproducts.If thereisnonedforcontinuousremoval，theguideplateretums tothenormaltobaccorodconveyingpositionandnormal productionocurs.Thedevicecanremoveproductswithdefectiveappearancewhenthe lengthoftheconveyingchannelis insufficient，and has simple transformation and low cost.
