Abstract:Since2O20,allnational-levelmeteorologicalobservationstationsoftheMeteorologicalDepartmentof Shandong Provincehaveusedthreerainfallsensorstoconductliquidprecipiationobservations.Inordertoensurethemeasurement accuracyofrainsensors,regularverificationofrainsensorsisnecesary.Findingadevicethatcanbeusedforbothon-site verificationofrainsensorsandlaboratoryverficationofrainsensorscansavealotofresources.Throughtestingandanalyzing theARC10O-Mfullyautomaticrainfallcalibrator,thispaperdrawsthefllowingconclusions:Theallwableerorofthecapacity ofthestandardglassgaugeoftheARC10o-MrainfallcalibratorconformstotherequirementsofJG(Meteorology)005—2015 "VerfcationRegulationsforTipingTankRainfallSensorsforAutomaticMeteorologicalStations";Therainintensityseing valuesoftheARCloO-Mrainfallcalibratorarebasicallconsistentwiththeactualrainintensitycontrolvalues;Thereisno significantdiferenceinthecomparisondatabetweentheARC10o-Mrainfallcalibratorandthe765liquidfeeder,andthe randomerrorsandsystematicerorsareconsistent.Inconclusion,theARC1oo-Mrainfallcalibratorcanbeusedtocalibrate tipping bucket rainfall sensors in the laboratory.
