Abstract:Withthecontinuousexpansionofurbaninfrastructure,municipal pipelinesfaceincreasinglyseverechallngesof reducedwatertransporteficiencyandwaterqualitysafetyissescausedbyscale depositionandbiofilmcontamination. Tradionalmanualcleaningmethodsarerestrictedbyhighaccidentratesandlowoperationaleficiencywhichhasspurred significantresearchhotspotsinpipelinecleaningrobottechnology.Basedonthecurrntresearchstatusofpipecleaningrobot technology,thispaperdiscussestheproblemsandchalengesfacedbytheexistingpipecleaningrobottechnology,focuseson analyzingtheresearchprogressofthetravelmodeandfunctionalmodulesoftherobotbodyandpromotestheintellgentand highlyadaptablepipecleaningrootdevelopment,soastomeetthediversifiedoperationandmaintenanceneedsofcomplexpipe network systems.
