Cross-view consistency based 3D Gaussian splatting interactive segmentation method

Abstract:Existing3DGausiansplatinginteractivesegmentationmethodssuferfromlongprocessingtimesanddifculties in achievingclearobjectboundarysegmentation,failingtomeetthedemandsofsingle-objecteditingindigitalassetgeneration and related fields.Toaddressthis,this paper proposed across-view consistencybased3D Gaussiansplattig interactivesegmentationmethod.Thecoreideainvolvedachievingcross-viewconsistencysegmentationin2Dimages followedbylocalreconstructionof targetobject through3DGaussansplating.Specifically,thismethoditerativelyperformedcrossviewconsistency segmentationusingaself-prompting strategyonvisual hull,while introducing acliprejection mechanism to handlesegmentationfailures during iteratios.Additionall,itproposedregionrestrictionandpost-processingstrategies toaddressousion scenarios.Experimentalresultsdemonstratethatthis methodnotonlyenables preciseobject boundarysegmentationbut also achievesa2to6timesspeedimprovement.It proves thatthemethod’sadvantages inbothqualityandeficiencyfortaskslike scene editing.
