[Abstract] Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a major challenge facing global public health field, and its pathological process involves an imbalance in the proliferation and programmed death of Vascular Smooth Muscle Cels (VSMCs), endothelial cels, andcardiomyocytes.Recentstudies have shown thatregularphysical activity,asanon-pharmacological treatment modality, can have a preventive and therapeutic effecton CVDbyregulating cellapoptosis.Moderate exercise training can efectivelyactivate energy metabolism-related pathways, significantly improvetheredox stateof the body, and achieve a dual regulatory efect by regulating theexpresionratio of pro-apoptotic proteinandanti-apoptotic proteins:ontheonehand, itcaninhibittheabnormalapoptosisofmyocardialcelsandvascularendothelialcels, and onthe other hand, itcan induce moderate programmed celldeath of VSMCs,and ultimately effectively delay the formation and development of atherosclerotic plaques efectively. This article systematically discusss the molecular mechanism of exercise training inregulating programmed celldeathandits clinical applicationvalue inthe prevention and treatmentof cardiovasculardiseases, aiming to provide theoreticalsupport for the developmentof scientific exercise prescription.
